I extend my heartiest welcome to all who are interested to take admission in various programmes of Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University. The university marks a special relevance and attention to meet the aspirations, among the young minds, for the pursuit of higher education in the area of Bundelkhand. We are committed for the inclusive development of the area through knowledge, values, community services, and innovative research.
The University has 22 departments with 3 faculties and 21 research centers. It offers a wide range of programmes: Doctrate, PG, PG- diploma, Certificate and Diploma courses in various disciplines. More than 200000 students are enrolled spanning across the six districts in Madhya Pradesh. Since its inception, it provides affiliation to 194 colleges.
We have also implemented Nation Education Policy 2020 which envisages the shift from the summative assessment to formative assessment for the session 2021-22. In this regard, we are also offering 14 value-added courses for the students to hone the skills and competency of human resources and meet the needs and demands of local community. We are also planning to introduce 'School of Interdisciplinary studies' for the extensive exploration of new research areas and holistic development of the society.
The University has signed MOU with Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India for the establishment of Dr. Ambedkar chair. It will work for the sole purpose of inclusive education, financial assistance and excellence in higher education. MOUs with other prestigious institutions and ministries are in pipeline.
